Pierluigi Collina is a legendary Italian football referee, widely seen as one of the best and most recognizable in the history of the sport. He officiated some of football’s biggest matches, including the 2002 World Cup final, and later helped shape refereeing standards at the highest level

He was also featured on the cover of Konami’s Pro Soccer video games, which added to his fame beyond the pitch. Today he is currently FIFA’s Chairman of the Referees Committee, helping oversee and shape refereeing standards worldwide.
